As I'm searching around the digital debris
that is my hard drive
wondering when was the last time
I actually backed the thing up,
I remembered a few snippets
of a dream last night
featuring two of my blood brothers.
One of them introduced me
to the vinyl version of
Bowie's album Hunky Dory.
It's one of those albums that has a great cover
(if you can find the vinyl version anyway)
and every song is pretty neat
(despite the overexposure of "Changes")
I'm sure David Don't Surf,
but thought I'd quote him
out of context anyway.
"I'm torn between the light and shade
where others see their targets
with divine symmetry"
from Quicksand by David Bowie from the album Hunky Dory 1971
